THE HEXAGRAM OF THE SUN RITUAL

Here is the Hexagram of the Sun ritual, performed on a Sunday, the day of the Sun, that combines all six planetary hexagrams into a single hexagram by the vibration of the God Name of Tiphareth: YHVH Eloha Va-Daath.

Tiphareth is the Sephiroth of the Sun, and is the only Sephiroth on the Tree of Life that is connected to all the other Sephira besides Malkuth (Earth).

The ritual is quite beautiful, starting with the Analysis of the Keyword (INRI) LVX callings, and then starting in the eastern quarter, you invoke each planetary hexagram in turn from Saturn to Luna, lock them all together with Ararita, and then in the centre draw the symbol of Sol with vibrating the God name mentioned above, and finishing with the LVX at the end.

The Magician can then use the energies called, and the associations of the Sun, or any Sun God he wants to invoke such as Apollo, Ra or Helios to bestow him desires and powers.

This entire ritual is book-ended by the LBRP and the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Hexagram.

The Ritual:

Stand facing East, and with your wand trace and vibrate INRI in the air from left to right, and then also the Hebrew letters of INRI - Yod-Nun-Resh-Yod from right to left, followed by the rest of the LVX:

I.N.R.I

YOD-NUN-RESH-YOD

Virgo, Isis, Mighty Mother

Scorpio, Apophis, Destroyer

Sol, Osiris Slain and Risen

Isis, Apophis, Osiris

I.A.O !

(The Magician assumes the posture of each)

The Sign of Osiris Slain

The Sign of the Mourning of Isis (the L)

The Sign of Apophis and Typhon (the V)

The Sign of Osiris Risen (the X)

L.V.X

LUX! (Lukes!)

The Light of the Cross!

The Magician then walks to the eastern quarter and draws the six planetary hexagrams in turn on top of each other: Saturn/Luna, Jupiter/Mercury, Mars/Venus, Venus/Mars, Mercury/Jupiter and Luna/Saturn.

Then he charges them with ARARITA.

In the centre he draw the sign of Sol, which is a circle with the dot in the centre. He charges this sign with the God Name of Tiphareth “YHVH Eloha-Va'Daath”, and visualizes all six hexagrams and the sun sign flare up like a miniature sun.

The Magician repeats these hexagrams in the other three quarters from South to North, and then returns to his altar to repeat the Analysis of the Keyword.

It is here that invoking of any Solar Deity may commence to bring upon certain powers and blessings. If the magician does not wish to invoke, he can bath in the energies he has called forth for healing or sustenance,

The Magician then finishes the rite with the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Hexagram and License to Depart.

I love performing this ritual as the sun rises on a Sunday, and find it gives me an amazing charge to start off a new week. Another ritual I like performing with it is another ritual associated with the Sephira Tiphareth and that is the Rose Cross ritual, where you invoke the Pentagrammaton YHshVH (Yeheshuah) aka Jesus.

Tiphareth is also the Sephira of the Christ Child, and the Redeemer so performing both these rituals together on a Sunday work great together.
